When everything aligns

My aim is to establish a compatibility between subject, light, and film in every image. When these three elements come together, they create space for inspiration and happiness. An inner image begins to take shape - one I try to make visible.

Yet this alignment is rarely a matter of chance. It requires attention, preparation, and a clear understanding of one’s own intention. Where do I direct my gaze? What should carry a series? And when are the conditions such that the image can unfold?

Sometimes, this attitude reveals itself precisely in restraint. When the described compatibility is missing, it is important to move on. Because the image begins to form long before the shutter is released.
